ABOUT US:
What we do

We believe that the key competences in the 21st century will be the ability to come up with new solutions to old problems; implement sustainable change on a continual basis; and involve all stakeholders in the process of creating, implementing and sustaining visions. We have dedicated this company to assist individuals, organisations and communities do that.

We work as process consultants focusing on increasing creative capacities in businesses and organisations i.e. competences; leadership; work practice; processes and the way all these factors interact as a system.

We also work with social and cultural projects because they either inspire us and tickle our curiosity, or because we feel they are important to us and others.

ABOUT US:
Creative Teamwork & Structured Idea Development

As a response to the growing need for creative work in teams and organisations, Changedesign has developed a short, intense, action-based workshop concept, that embeds the fundamental principles of creativity, along with a number of kick-ass ideation tools in the hearts, minds and bodies of the workshop participants.

An integrated part of our learning methodology rests on the pillars of design, product development and innovation management. We provide participants with insights on innovation and seek to increase their understanding and abilities as creative team players and team leaders along the way.

Very often the starting point for a learning program is build around concrete challenges and market opportunities relevant to the participants. We equip teams with forefront knowledge and expertise, together with a set of innovative and creative tools to solve problems and challenges. Teamwork experiences allow for a "hands-on-learning-by-doing" approach, which we follow up by engaging participants in dialogue and group reflection sessions, in order to extract tangible learning and insights.

An important part of any endeavour is building a strong group of travelers. Creative and effective teamwork requires an understanding of group dynamics and a set of tools for building creative and effective teams. The same goes for a creative and effective learning space.

We start any training by building openness and trust among participants, in order to provide a space that fosters learning, curiosity and willingness to take an active part in learning. We facilitate reflection around the importance of building strong teams that are based on trust and openness. We facilitate learning around how participants can go about building trust and openness in their own teams, when they return to their regular workspace.

Leadership and Organisational Change

We are all increasingly challenged by present and emerging needs for change and renewal. We have created a workshop, that comprises the key elements of enabling change within organisations. The participants of the workshop are invited to explore change in the context of leadership; processes; people; work culture and how these factors interact as a system.

ABOUT US:
Dialogue & Knowledge Sharing

We have extensive experience in setting up training courses within different fields of knowledge and expertise within both private companies and educational institutions. We collaborate with specialized knowledge and content providers to set up training courses, semimars and knowledge sharing that leave participants with forefront awareness and up-to-date professional knowledge and expertise.

We do this by bringing in experts and content deliverers, while we provide the framework and facilitation skills around an effective and engaging learning process. We work with a methodology, which is based on collaborative and experiential learning, where participants are highly active and engage in collaboration and exploration of challenges and opportunities within a specific field of interest.

Idea development for Mando Group

Changedesign conducts idea development for Mando Group. Mando is a web based advertising agency based in Liverpool in the UK. The company was awarded digital agancy of the year in 2009. Changedesign conducted idea development with the employees at Mando. The challenge was to come up with ideas for raising £ 1 mio for the Mando Charitable Foundation by year 2017. The workshop was held at Parr Street Studios where a.o. Coldplay recorded their two most recent albums.

FEATURED WORK:
KPH – cultural and social activists and entrepreneurs

Changdesign conducts vision, strategy and idea development for KPH. KPH is a projecthouse for cultural activists and entrepreneurs. The projecthouse is situated in Copenhagen and offers work stations, advisory support and workshop spaces for non-commercial projects with cultural or social purposes. Volume is KPHs venue used for large exhibitions and events.

SI Creative Leaders

We helped the Swedish Institute develop the concept for a programme called Creative Leaders. The Swedish Institute is a public agency that promotes interest in Sweden abroad. The Creative Leaders programme was piloted with a group of cultural entrepreneurs from the Baltic countries. As part of the pilot we also conducted a workshop on creative leadership.

Kick-off at Tidnings Kompaniet

As kick-off for several projects at Tidnings Kompaniet, we invited the staff on a creative journey. We conducted idea development workshops in their departments in Stockholm and Gothenburg. In addition to great ideas for the projects, the aim of the workshops was to strengthen the company's abilitities to work creatively in teams and projects.

Danish Enterprise and Construction Authority has assigned Changedesign to lead an idea workshop for some 80 managing directors from the municipalities, regions and private companies. The aim of the workshop is to develop initiatives, that will make the job easier, when a municipality wants to set up a public private collaboration. We have conducted training in creativity and idea development for great companies, as a part of Hyper Island's master class programme. Are black sheep more creative than We

conducted a structured idea development process at BBH in London. This was a great way of bringing all members of the team on board, in the creative process from first step. It is all about bringing different perpectives to the table, to explore as many possible directions as possible.

FEATURED WORK:
Creativity for young opinion builders from the middle east

We trained 30 young opinion builders from the middle-east in creativity and structured idea development. The training was a part of Swedish Institute's Young Leaders Visitors Programme. The YLVP programme invites young opinion builders from the Arab countries to strengthen their ability to drive social change in their region.

Changedesign plans network forum on creativity and innovation. We helped the Ministry of Education in Denmark put together a spectacular and action packed programme, for their network forum on creativity and innovation. Academic re-invention

We conducted an intense idea development process at Örebro University. The process was a part of the university's long term investments in R&D and innovation. The process resulted in radically new ideas and kick started the work of thinking new within the university.

 


EXPERTISE

ABOUT US:
Competences and methodology



Henrik Johansson and Thomas Reibke are both experienced trainers and facilitators. They have been working with organizational change, creativity and learning processes for companies, organizations and educational institutions. Both Thomas and Henrik have extensive experience from working as process consultants, facilitators and trainers internationally.

Through collaborations with various knowledge partners, they have been involved in the development and execution of a list of innovative education and learning concepts. Their expertise is an experiential learning methodology, which is based on collaborative learning, team work, group dynamics, and problem solving.

Their methodology is highly relevant and can be applied in many different situations, as well as areas of knowledge and expertise. The methodology emphasizes a creative and innovative mind-set, and skills within problem solving, creative teamwork and innovation are an integrated part of their concept.

Thomas and Henrik have worked as process consultants around issues related to strategic innovation, change management, organizational creativity and learning for private companies such as Statoil, Bang & Olufsen, GlaxoSmith&Kline, The Singapore Ministry of Education, Innovation Lab Denmark. Henrik Johansson

Henrik is a graduated KaosPilot and after his graduation been working as process consultant in the field of education design, group dynamics, creativity and innovation. He has worked in various development projects for clients like The Singapore Ministry of Education, Innovation Lab Denmark, Hyper Island, The Swedish Institute, Idea Factory Singapore and Örebro University etc. Henrik is funder and partner of www.changedesign.dk

Henrik passion is to facilitate learning and creative processes and to help groups to solve tricky tasks and become smarter together.

Right now Henrik is also working on his dream project of creating The Fantastic Studio – a combination of a creative studio and a retreat place. The studio will be located on a remote lush island on the tropical Andaman Island. The studio is designed with the intention to support creative process, reflection process, dialogues, body and mind development.

Thomas Reibke

Thomas Reibke works as consultant and trainer in the fields of organizational change, creativity and leadership. Thomas is an experienced process facilitator and his work has included assignments for large companies such as Bang & Olufsen, Statoil, Alm. Brand Bank a.o.

Thomas has also worked in the public sector for city councils, The Danish Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Economic and Financial Affairs, as well as other kinds of institutions. This work has evolved around vision building, strategy and idea development as well as citizen and user involvement around political agendas and city development.

Thomas has studied creative leadership at the Kaospilots in Denmark and holds an MA in Cultural and Creative Leadership from University of Portsmouth, UK.
